Greetings Paramount Families,
As you may have heard at the Board meeting last night, the Board of Education voted unanimously and provided direction to staff to continue in distance learning for the remainder of the school year. The decision was made based on their continued interest in the safety of our staff and students, and their steadfast commitment to understanding and considering the needs of the Paramount USD community first and foremost. Our employees and labor partners continue to work together to provide the safest and best services and in our ongoing efforts to offer vaccines to all our employees. The district team will continue to focus on providing the best distance learning, instructional options, and services for our students and to plan for a robust summer session and an outstanding 2021-22 school year.

Como pudo haber escuchado en la reunión de la Mesa Directiva Gubernamental de Educación del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Paramount anoche, la Mesa Directiva de Educación votó por unanimidad y brindó instrucciones al personal para continuar en el aprendizaje a distancia durante el resto del año escolar. La decisión se tomó sobre la base de su continuo interés en la seguridad de nuestro personal y estudiantes, y su firme compromiso de comprender y considerar las necesidades de la comunidad de Paramount USD en primer lugar. Nuestros empleados y socios laborales continúan trabajando juntos para brindar los mejores y más seguros servicios y en nuestros esfuerzos continuos para ofrecer vacunas a todos nuestros empleados. El equipo del distrito continuará enfocándose en brindar el mejor aprendizaje a distancia, opciones de instrucción y servicios para nuestros estudiantes y planificar una sesión de verano sólida y un año escolar 2021-22 sobresaliente.
