Join us for the Black History Celebration hosted by the department of Climate, Culture, & Equity on February 25th from 4:30 to 6:45 p.m. at Paramount High School's Gym (14429 Downey Avenue, Paramount, CA). This year’s theme, “Building Bridges: Connecting History to Progress,” offers a meaningful opportunity to honor the contributions of Black Americans and their ongoing impact on our community and society.
The event will kick off with exciting Booths and Food from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., where attendees can explore various exhibits celebrating African American culture, history, and achievements.
From 5:45 to 6:45 p.m., enjoy live Student Performances, where talented students will take the stage to share their artistic expression, paying tribute to Black history through music, dance, and poetry.
This free event is open to all members of the community. Let’s come together to reflect on the journey, celebrate the progress, and look ahead to the future. See you at Paramount High School’s Gym!
Let’s celebrate Black history—today and every day!
